The Kansas City, Missouri Chapter, chartered in 1969 continues to embrace the vision of the Founders through a variety of public service projects that make a positive impact on our community. These projects support the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, which is:

Charlotte Williams-RiceWelcome to www.dstkcmo.org the website of Kansas City, Missouri Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. It’s purpose is to keep members and the public aware of the Sorority sponsored activities that strive to carry out their mission of public service, through Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc is a private, nonprofit organization of predominantly black college educated women. It was founded on the campus of Howard University, in 1913 by twenty-two visionary and courageous women determined to make the world a better place by becoming actively involved in key social, economic and political issues of their times.
