President's Message

presidentWelcome to the website of the Kansas City, Missouri Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where we are dedicated to empowering our sisterhood and the Black community through positive action and service.  This site is designed to keep our members and the community informed and in-touch with the service activities sponsored by this chapter which are designed to carry out our national mission:  A Sisterhood Called to Service: Transforming Lives and Impacting Communities.
The Kansas City, Missouri Chapter, chartered in 1969, continues to embrace the vision of the Founders through a variety of public service projects that make a positive impact on our community. These projects support the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, which is:
